Do you ever feel too busy; overwhelmed with everything you have to do – like there simply isn’t enough time in the day?
Do you ever wonder why some people seem to get so much more done than you do? After all, everyone has the same 24 hours per day, right?
Well, not exactly. Of course, it’s true that everyone has access to the same number of hours in each day. But it's how people manage that 24 hours, that varies. Successful people manage their time more effectively.
And time management is really life management – so how effective are you?
Anyone can improve their time management – and I reveal how to get started in my video at http://LivingForExcellence247.com
If you’re like many people, you may believe your life is simply too busy – not matter what, there is no room for improvement when it comes to time management. But the fact is that you CAN improve your time management, if you have enough incentive, motivation, and the right strategy.
During the Mental Fitness Challenge you learn:
My step by step formula for setting and achieving your time management goals
Why great time management decreases stress.
How to create more energy and more time for friends, family, relaxation and anything else you want to do.
One thing you must do daily to reach your time management goals.
How to take your time management goals from ideas to action, every time.
One thing successful people have in common – and how you can get it, too.
What if you could make better use of your 24 hours? What if you could find a way to get more done, in less time, so you created more free time for yourself?
Become more efficient NOW!
Great time management is almost like adding hours to your day... wouldn’t that be nice?
Here’s to your increased success – through L.I.F.E. management,

Your LIFE Business has to be 'updated' regularly to
maintain safety and security. Malicious viruses of negativity and
pessimism, bugs of boredom and complacency gradually creep in. Left
undetected, your system can crash-causing your career to “suddenly”
fail. Build firewalls around your career by feeding yourself a buffet
of positive information. Build your business having the faith of knowing WHY you CAN, not why someone thinks you canNOT. Networking is built around
rejection, which is why it can be lucrative. You must feel the pain of
rejection to receive the gain of prosperity. Renew your mind each
day; networking is an industry where it both forgives yesterday’s downfalls
yet grants the grace of new beginnings tomorrow. With such a
disproportionate amount of failures, draw from the lessons of each
encounter. Don’t get entrapped in why you had the misfortune, instead ask how
can you can learn from the lesson so as not miss fortune the next time
around. Experience can be a great teacher, if you’ll let it. Get out there & D0. If you mess it up, don't freak out; let your upline come along & clean it up!

From Waiting on God to God Being with Us? by Jack Graham
In the Old Testament, God revealed himself in both the tabernacle and the temple. Man waited on God to show up at specific, sovereign times. God moved in certain ways at certain times among certain people.
But with the birth of Emmanuel, that changed forever. God became personally and permanently with us. And what a miraculous advent it was and remains.
Jesus was born of a virgin, which was a sign of his deity. He was not a product of man, but was the holy son of God. Yet he was both fully human and fully divine, both God and man. Not half God and half man, but God-Man.
Now you may be tempted to ask, "How can this be?" Well, in the natural, it is impossible! But with God, all things are possible.
The apostle Paul wrote, "Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He [God] was manifested in the flesh" (1 Timothy 3:16). You see, Paul never lost his wonder over God becoming flesh, and neither should we.
At Christmas, we celebrate this remarkable move by God—the infinite becoming an infant. The eternal God stepped into a baby's flesh and became a man. And he lived in complete humanity so that he could know our sufferings as well as our joys.

Why Did Jesus Become a Human? by Greg Laurie
Hebrews 4:15-16 says, "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (NKJV). Talk about having friends in high places. The Bible is saying that you are not serving a God who is disinterested in you. You are not serving a God who doesn't know what it is like to literally walk in your shoes. So you can go boldly to the throne of grace and find grace to help in time of need.
Jesus Christ, who was God in human form, never lived for a moment outside of the perfect will of God. He never gave in to a temptation. He never had an impure thought. He never did one wrong thing. He never displeased His Father in the smallest matter. He was flawless. He was sinless. He was perfect.
So why did Jesus come to earth as God in human form? Was it to give us the ultimate teachings ever? No. Though they were the greatest teachings ever given, He came here for more than that. Did Jesus come to set the perfect example of how a man or woman should live? He came to do that and much more. Did Jesus walk this earth merely to do miracles and heal people? While He always reached out to people in need, that was not His primary purpose.
C. S. Lewis said it well: "The Son of God became a man that men might become sons of God." God became a man so that you might become God's child. Now that is something worth celebrating.

Character Traits of Extraordinary Leaders by Chris Widener
When people make a decision (either consciously or unconsciously) to follow your leadership, they do it primarily because of one of two things: your character or your skills. They want to know if you are the kind of person they want to follow and if you have the skills to take them further. Yes, there are other variables, but these are the bulk of the matter.
Integrity. Integrity is that you do what you say you will. You are trust worthy. People can rely on you. You keep your promises. The one thing that will most keep people from following you is if they can’t know for sure if you will actually take them where you say you will. Are you known as a person of integrity? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!
Optimistic. People don’t want to follow others who think the future is bad! They want to follow those who can see the future and let them know that there is a better place and that they can get them there! Do you see the cup as half empty? Then you are a pessimist. Do you see it as half full? Then you are an optimist. Do you see it as totally full—half air and half water? Then you are a Super Optimist! Are you known as an optimist? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!
Embraces Change. Leaders are the ones who will see the need for change and willingly embrace it. Followers will at first desire to stay where they are. Leaders need to see the benefits of change and communicate them to followers. If you don’t change, you won’t grow! Are you known as a person who embraces change? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!
Risk Taker. Whenever we try something new, we are taking a risk. That is part of growing though and it is imperative. Most people are risk averse. Not the leader! They calculate the risk and what is to be gained from taking the risk. Then they communicate that to the followers and away they go to a better tomorrow! Are you known as a person who is willing to take risks? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!
Tenacious. The tendency of the follower is to quit when the going gets tough. Two or three tries and their motto becomes “If at first you don’t succeed, give up and try something else.” Not the leader! They know what good lies beyond this brick wall and they will go and get it. Then they will bring others with them! Are you known as a person who is tenacious? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!
Catalytic. A leader is ultimately one who gets people going. They are able to move others out of their comfort zone and on toward the goal! They can raise the passion, enthusiasm and the ACTION of those who would follow. Are you known as a catalyst? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!
Dedicated/Committed. Followers want people who are more devoted and committed than themselves. At the first sign of lack of commitment, followers scatter for the doors. If the leader sees the end and is bailing out, they better get out first. Followers follow those who will stick it out because they see the importance of the task and the goal. Are you known as a person who is committed and devoted to the goal? If so, you will become an Extraordinary Leader!

Journals
Be a collector of good ideas, but don't trust your memory. The best collecting place for all of the ideas and information that comes your way is your journal.
The reason why I spend so much money for my journals is to press me to find something valuable to put in them.
There are three things to leave behind: your photographs, your library and your personal journals. These things are certainly going to be more valuable to future generations than your furniture!
Don't use your mind for a filing cabinet. Use your mind to work out problems and find answers; file away good ideas in your journal.
“Vitamins for the Mind” is a weekly sampling of original quotes on a specific topic taken from The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn; a collection of more than 365 quotes on 60 topics gathered from Jim’s personal journals, seminars and books and spanning more than 40 years.

Profits Are Better Than Wages by Jim Rohn
My mentor, when I was 25 years old, dropped a phrase on me that changed my life forever when he said, “Profits are better than wages. Wages will make you a living. Profits can make you a fortune.”
You know it is a bit difficult to get rich on wages, but anybody can get rich on profits. Profits change your whole attitude, even if you start part time—whether it’s part time on your entrepreneurial business, network marketing company or service business.
It can be a landscape business in the summer or hanging Christmas lights in the winter. It can be training, consulting or tutoring. It can be your hobby, such as painting, writing, crafts, woodworking, computers or cooking. But once you start investing even part-time effort into your own business, you will find how much more exciting it is to get up in the morning and go to work on your fortune, even if you’re only spending a few hours a week doing it.
How empowering it is to be able to go to work on your fortune every day rather than going to work to pay the rent. Now it is noble to go to work to pay the rent, but if you could also parcel out part of your time, go to work to make your fortune. Your whole attitude changes. Your spirit changes. It is in your voice. It is in your face. It is in your gestures. And then you can say, “I am now working full time on my job and part time on my fortune because I found a way to make profits.” Wow!
And I will know what you mean. Begin YOUR journey to Extraordinary Leadership by clicking http://LivingForExcellence247.com

The Christmas Truce by Ron White
It was referred to as the war to end all wars. Yet, two decades after World War I the world found itself once again entrenched in a global battle. Why was the First World War referred to as the war to end all wars? It earned this name because it was believed that with all the modern weapons of war, no nation would dare attack another for the sure bloodshed that would follow. The destruction of the First World War was horrific, with over 10 million giving their lives in the name of their country.
In the midst of this brutality, death and destruction, one of the most peculiar sights in human history evolved on a Christmas night in 1914. On this incredible night almost a century ago, soldiers on the Western Front did the unthinkable. Only days and perhaps hours before, these men had found themselves frozen to the bone in the cold rain and mud. The sound of mortars still rang in their ears. The sight of their brothers in arms falling to the ground from a volley of bullets was still fresh in their minds. Yet, something remarkable was about to take place on this Christmas Eve.
It was a truce in the fighting initiated by the low-ranking men selected to do the fighting and dying. By all accounts this Christmas truce was not started by the British. It was, in fact, a result of the actions of the Germans. Yes, the country that it had become easy to vilify during this time period because of their horrific leaders and government policies was in fact a nation of people with hearts like you and me. These German soldiers lobbed a chocolate cake into the trenches of the British. Imagine that; you are used to seeing grenades land in your trench and instead the enemy has lobbed a chocolate cake with a request for an hour truce. The truce was for a birthday party for their captain. The truce was granted.
As a soldier in this war, it was comforting to know that your enemy was in the same miserable conditions that you were—the cold, the mud and the stench of death. Remarkably, it was in these conditions that a truce was born, and soon Christmas carols burst out from the trenches of the Germans, once again, an olive branch. The British were at first reluctant and rightfully so; this was war and any trick is fair game in war. Although, it was recognized for what it was. Men with hearts, moms, dads, children, hobbies, girlfriends, wives and compassion overcome with that compassion on the anniversary of the greatest sacrifice in the history of mankind. It was Christmas and the anniversary of the birth of a man who laid down his life for others, and the Germans were overcome with this spirit.
That Christmas Eve soldiers who had been engaged in the war referred to as “the war to end all wars” because of this brutality tossed their weapons of destruction aside and embraced, sang Christmas songs and even wandered the battlefield playing soccer with each other and sharing cigarettes. It has been said that hundreds and as many as thousands participated in this most magical holiday truce.
There is something about this time of year that you can’t pinpoint. It is something that you can’t put your finger on. It is a spirit that is in the air. It is a spirit that begs you to forget differences, embrace those you love and even those you don’t. It challenges you to give until you can’t give anymore. Sometimes the cloud of challenges in life can spur a person to brush aside the undeniable feelings that are in the air at Christmas. Too often the pressures of life can convince you the spirit of joy and giving that you are sensing is nothing more than a coincidence of the time of year. In 1914, a handful of low ranking German soldiers knew that what they felt in their hearts about Christmas was true.
These men did not brush aside the impromptu feelings of peace and love for their fellow man. Instead, they lobbed a chocolate cake and a note of truce. I encourage you to allow yourself to be overcome this Christmas with the same spirit that took these soldiers captive almost a century ago. You may feel you are entrenched in some kind of your own personal battle. If so, allow yourself to be overwhelmed with the spirit of giving and joy, and toss a chocolate cake out there. You just might be surprised at the outcome.

L.I.F.E's 8 F's FAITH: From the Pastor's Heart
1. When emergencies arise, we can receive clear, timely direction from the Lord through prayer, which eliminates confusion.
2. As we converse with the Father, He can keep us from making wrong decisions that would have negative, long-range repercussions or would cause costly delays.
3. Through intimate communion with the Savior, worry, anxiety, and fretting can be eliminated because we grow in our assurance of His character.
4. Even if we should start down the wrong path out of ignorance, God can get us back on track as we spend time in His presence and listen to Him.
5. Our growing relationships with the Father produce a sense of peacefulness because we enjoy His perfect understanding of our circumstances and His unfailing guidance.
6. Prayer invites the Lord into our daily activities, allowing Him to make us productive.
7. Listening to God gives us confidence and can make our decisions more enjoyable because we’re doing what He’s called us to do.
8. Time with the Savior sharpens our discernment, helping us avoid wasted opportunities.
9. We receive the Lord’s viewpoint regarding our situations, seeing through surface issues to what’s really happening.
10. Our communion with the Father gives us energy, enabling us to accomplish the great things He calls us to do.
11. Focusing on the Lord prevents us from being distracted by the wrong things.
12. The Holy Spirit reminds us of the necessity to act upon important decisions and activities that we may forget or wrongly consider insignificant.
13. Abiding in God’s presence prevents us from becoming discouraged because He always fills us with hope.
14. Remaining constant in our communication with the Father reveals open doors of opportunity that we would not have seen otherwise.
15. Committing our ways to the Lord through prayer helps us discern the difference between busyness and true fruitfulness.
Psalm 90:12 instructs, “Teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” God is the One who shows you both the importance of your time and how to be most effective in investing it. If you are wrestling with the reality of the days that have passed because of an aging loved one, an overloaded schedule, or unmet objectives, remember that the most effective thing you can do is listen to God by reading His Word. He can show you how to redeem the time (Eph. 5:15-16), making all your moments as fruitful and meaningful as possible.
